Reporter from Fuzhou,inspection and Quarantine Bureau was informed that recently a number of countries and regions to import LED lighting products set a higher threshold,the inspection and quarantine departments to remind domestic LED lighting production enterprises should keep abreast of the relevant standards,to avoid the risk of export.

According to reports,September 1 this year,EU on directional lights,LED lamps and related equipment of ecological design is required to formally enter the first stage,energy efficiency requirements,functional requirements and information required to meet the new regulations.For example,the LED and other energy efficiency requirements increased by 2.5 times.In February 1st this year,all exports to the EU lamps need to strengthen the detection of EMF(electromagnetic field),in order to assess the impact of electromagnetic field around the electromagnetic field on human health.

On May 5 this year,Mexico's economy Department revised LED lamp with the new standards mandatory formally went into effect,the standard for outdoor use of LED lamps and lanterns,the minimum energy efficiency requirements,classification,testing procedures,labels,and market supervision content made detailed requirements.In the flux mark,the total flux measurement of all outdoor lighting products value shall not be less than the standard value of 90%marks.Standard also requires all outdoor LED lamps of the power factor is not less than 0.9,the total harmonic distortion is not more than 20%.

Since last year,the United States,Japan,Israel and other countries have implemented an important LED industry related standards.Such as the United States announced amendments to the"appliance labeling rule",make the LED lamp new labeling requirements;Japan market for the sale of LED lighting and LED lamp apparatus into the electrical equipment safety law"regulation,must be affixed to the PSE to circular mark,the technical standard also made changes.

LED lighting is a new product in recent years,the market prospect is broad.According to statistics,the existing LED production enterprises in Fujian province 42,1-February this year,Fujian LED lamps exported 176 batches,1031.06 million,has become the second largest lighting products export products.

Many overseas countries have raised the standard threshold,but many of our LED lighting manufacturers have introduced the standards do not understand,only by customer sample production,there is a great export risk.Therefore,inspection and quarantine departments to remind LED lamp production enterprises to effectively enhance the risk awareness of quality,in strict accordance with the standards of the importing country design manufacturing products,never blindly followed the customer requirements,to avoid being penny wise and pound foolish;also pay close attention to the dynamic industry in other countries,is constructed to obtain the channel and mechanism of foreign standards and technical measures to trade,good standard of collection work,familiar with the new standard specifications.
